And if, on your last business trip to Denver, you stayed at a motel near the airport and your accommodation was pleasant, you probably will be a repeat customer of this same motel on your next visit to the Mile High City.

When it comes to picking a hotel, motel, or other type of travel lodging, there is something to be said for staying with the familiar. But if you don't break out of your routine and try an interesting inn, charming bed and breakfast, privately owned hotel or motel, or luxurious timeshare, you may be missing many of the best accommodations out there.

On the other hand, a bed and breakfast typically affords the pleasures of family-style dining with other guests at the inn. The tasty home cooking spares you the repetitiveness of restaurant food while providing you the opportunity to meet and socialize with other travelers.

Because the number of guest rooms in a bed and breakfast is highly limited, (typically between four and ten) you don't have the same last-minute flexibility most of us have come to expect when booking hotel reservations. If you really want that charming room in the inn overlooking the harbor, be sure you make your plans well in advance.

Many travelers look for hotel discounts and then make their hotel reservations, but never consider how much more comfortable they might be, or how much they could be saving if only they looked into timeshare rentals and timeshare resales as part of their travel planning. Numerous timeshare companies, and especially those affiliated with the larger exchange companies like Interval International timeshares and Resort Condominiums International timeshares, make it very easy for timeshare owners to use their days in any increment, including one night at a time. Timeshare ownership is no longer about vacationing in one-week or two-week intervals.

Remember, we are creatures of habit. Just because you've never really considered timeshare rentals and timeshare resales as a better option for travel accommodation, doesn't mean you shouldn't. After all, with more and more traditional hoteliers including Marriott, Hyatt, and Ritz Carlton to name a few, moving into the business of timeshare sales and timeshare rentals, this very well may prove to be the dominate travel trend of the future.
