Resort Condominiums International set out in 1974 to change the face of the timeshare industry. In just over three decades, RCI has had a dramatic effect on the way owners, sellers and renters view their timeshare properties. RCI made timesharing flexible and tradeable, allowing owners to travel the globe with their once static property.

Now, with the advent of the RCI Points program, these vacation properties are even more flexible, making it possible for owners to choose from even more international locations, select the number of days they'll vacation, and secure time at more luxurious and highly desirable vacation properties than ever before. RCI Points Program

Like the traditional RCI weeks program, RCI Points allows owners the opportunity to trade their annual or biennial week for time at one of the thousands of resorts in the expansive RCI network. However, unlike the weeks program, owners trade their week at their resort for a certain number of Points, rather than a direct (week for week) exchange.

These points act as a form of RCI currency, allowing owners to "purchase" time at one of the Points-affiliated, in-network properties. Points can be divided so as to allow for several shorter-stay vacations, or they can be "banked" or saved up to secure time in luxurious resorts, or more highly desirable vacation seasons. Essentially, RCI Points take timeshare ownership to the next level.
